PlayStation Sets Two State of Play Shows for Sept. 3
Sony is bringing State of Play back on September 3 with two broadcasts airing back-to-back. The first show starts at 9:00 AM ET.
September State of Play starts at 9:00 AM ET
PlayStation confirmed both broadcasts will stream on YouTube and Twitch on Thursday, September 3. The first show will be presented in English with Japanese subtitles, while State of Play Japan will be presented in Japanese with English subtitles.
- Pacific: 6:00 AM PT
- Eastern: 9:00 AM ET
- Central Europe: 3:00 PM CEST
- Japan: 10:00 PM JST
Final Fantasy VII Revelation gets an extended look
The regular State of Play will include several updates and announcements before closing with an extended segment for Final Fantasy VII Revelation from Square Enix. 9to5Toys highlighted the game as the main confirmed feature of the first broadcast, while Sony has not revealed the rest of the lineup ahead of the show.
State of Play Japan follows immediately
Sony says State of Play Japan will start as soon as the first broadcast ends. Voice actor Yuki Kaji will host the show, which will focus on upcoming games from studios in Japan and across Asia with new gameplay and announcements.
Gamers can watch both broadcasts through PlayStation’s official YouTube and Twitch channels when the first stream begins on September 3 at 9:00 AM ET.
