Xbox FanFest 2026 Tour: Every City, Date, and How Tickets Work
Xbox has revealed the full 2026 FanFest Tour schedule as part of its 25th anniversary celebration. The tour includes stops in Cologne, Tokyo, London, Mexico City, Sydney, Toronto, and Seattle, with Los Angeles already hosting the first event earlier in the year. Xbox says tickets for each upcoming stop will be awarded through city-specific sweepstakes, so fans will need to enter for a chance to attend instead of buying a standard ticket. The next stop is Cologne, Germany, on August 26 during gamescom.
Xbox FanFest 2026 tour dates
The tour is built around Xbox’s 25th anniversary, which falls on November 15, 2026. Xbox announced the remaining FanFest stops on August 24, giving gamers a clearer look at where the celebration is headed next.
- Cologne, Germany: August 26, during gamescom
- Tokyo, Japan: September 17, during Tokyo Game Show
- London, U.K.: September 26
- Mexico City, Mexico: October 17
- Sydney, Australia: October 17
- Toronto, Canada: November 6
- Seattle, U.S.: Date still to be announced
Los Angeles served as the opening stop during the Xbox Games Showcase earlier in 2026. The remaining schedule mixes major gaming events with standalone FanFest gatherings, giving Xbox fans in several regions a chance to join the anniversary in person.
How Xbox FanFest tickets work
Xbox is not using a normal public ticket sale for the announced stops. The company says tickets will be awarded through sweepstakes tied to each city.
Gamers interested in attending should watch the official Xbox FanFest page for entry details and updates. Xbox currently highlights Cologne, London, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Seattle, Sydney, Tokyo, and Toronto as FanFest Tour cities.
Cologne and Tokyo tie FanFest to major gaming events
The first two upcoming stops line up with two of the biggest gaming events of the year. Cologne’s FanFest takes place August 26 during gamescom, while Tokyo’s event arrives September 17 during Tokyo Game Show.
Those locations make the tour useful for fans who are already following major industry showcases. FanFest adds a community-focused event around the larger conventions instead of limiting the anniversary to online announcements.
Xbox is also adding 25th anniversary extras
FanFest is only one part of the anniversary campaign. Xbox also released new community-created gamerpics, backgrounds, themes, a 25th anniversary profile badge, and curated Game Pass collections.
The profile badge is available to players who sign in to an Xbox account on console, PC, or the Xbox mobile app, and Xbox says the badge will remain available through the end of 2026. The company also launched a new Xbox Gear store with anniversary merchandise.
Seattle is the one date still missing
Seattle is confirmed as a FanFest Tour city, but Xbox has not announced its date yet. Anyone hoping to attend that stop will need to keep an eye on the official FanFest page for the next update.
For everyone else, the schedule now stretches from late August through early November, giving the Xbox 25th anniversary celebration a global run before the official November 15 milestone.
