SanDisk 512GB Switch 2 Express microSD Card

SanDisk has released its new 512GB Express microSD card officially licensed for the Nintendo Switch 2. It is the second officially licensed card for the system after Samsung’s version.

Key Details and Price

The 512GB card is available for $149.99 directly from SanDisk, down from its regular $190 price. It is also listed on Amazon for $199.99 with a $40 discount through the SanDisk store.

Performance Specifications

The card matches the standard SanDisk Express microSD models with high read and write speeds. It is designed to handle demanding storage needs for the Switch 2.

  • Read speeds up to 880MB/s
  • Write speeds up to 650MB/s
  • Minimum sustained write 220MB/s

Design and Licensing

The card has a red finish and carries the official Switch 2 logo. It comes with a lifetime warranty and is part of the officially licensed lineup.

Current SanDisk Express microSD Lineup

SanDisk now offers three Express microSD options, including the new Switch 2 model.

  • 512GB Switch 2 Express card – $150 (Reg. $190)
  • 256GB Express card – $75
  • 512GB standard Express card – $120

Additional Notes

SanDisk expects more capacities in the future. The standard 512GB Express card remains the cheaper choice if official licensing is not required.
