macOS 26.7 Code Points to Over 20 Apple Devices
Code found in macOS Tahoe 26.7 points to more than 20 unreleased Apple devices across the Mac, iPhone, AirPods, Vision, and smart home lines. The references include internal codenames and device identifiers, but they do not confirm final product names, features, prices, or release dates.
Notebookcheck reports that the references were uncovered in the macOS Tahoe 26.7 Release Candidate. Several appear to match products already discussed in earlier reports, while others remain unidentified.
macOS 26.7 includes clues for future Macs and iPhones
The code includes Mac identifiers K114c, K114s, K116c, and K116s, which Notebookcheck connects to a rumored redesigned MacBook with an OLED touchscreen. References also appear for iMac models J833 and J834 and a Mac identified as J804.
On the iPhone side, the software includes V63, V64, V68, V62, and V67. Reports have linked those identifiers to future iPhone models, including a possible foldable model. Apple has not announced those devices or confirmed the reported names.
An iPad mini also appears through identifiers J510 and J511. As with the other entries, an identifier inside Apple software is evidence that hardware is being developed or tested, not a guarantee that it will ship in the reported form.
Apple smart home hardware also appears in the code
The findings extend beyond Apple’s main devices. Two identifiers, J490 and J491, have been linked in reports to Apple’s long-rumored smart home hub. The code also references B525, which may be a new HomePod mini, and J229, which has been associated with a possible home camera.
Notebookcheck says the internal name “Pebble” is connected to Apple’s reported home operating system. That does not mean Apple will use Pebble as the public product or software name.
Other references include B790, previously linked to rumored AirPods with cameras, along with possible AirPods Pro and Beats hardware. N109 appears to point to a future Vision device, while ATVRemote1.5 suggests Apple has tested another Apple TV remote.
Many of the identifiers are still unknown
The software contains several additional A-series, Device, and HomeAccessory identifiers that have not been tied to specific products. Apple often develops and tests hardware long before release, and some projects can change or be canceled.
For now, the macOS 26.7 references offer a look at the amount of hardware Apple appears to have in development. Sadly they should not be treated as a confirmed list of products.
