GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026

Rockstar Games has officially confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI is now launching on November 19, 2026. The news came after months of rumors and concerns about development delays behind the scenes at Rockstar Games.

According to comments from Strauss Zelnick, the delay ended up stretching around 18 months internally. While that is disappointing for gamers waiting to jump back into Vice City, it also shows how massive the project has become.

The extra time could help polish performance, improve stability, and avoid the rough launches that have hurt other big releases recently. Expectations for GTA6 are already sky-high, especially after the game’s first trailer shattered view records online.
