Google Preferred Sources: See Eventide Gaming First

This article may include affiliate links that earn us a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Finding trustworthy gaming and tech news should not mean digging through pages of search results. Google Preferred Sources lets you tell Google which websites you want to see more often, and adding Eventide Gaming takes about two clicks.

Once selected, fresh Eventide Gaming articles may appear more often in Top Stories, in a separate “From your sources” section, and with a Preferred badge inside AI Overviews and AI Mode. Google still checks whether an article is fresh and relevant, so the setting does not force every post to the top. Google Search Help explains how the feature works.

⭐ Add Eventide Gaming to Google Preferred Sources

1️⃣ Open the Eventide Gaming Source Page

First, sign in to the Google Account you normally use for Search. Signing in helps your source choices stay available across browsers where you use the same account.

Then open the Eventide Gaming source preferences page:

Google’s official publisher guide confirms that websites can use this direct-link format to open the Source Preferences tool with a domain already searched.

2️⃣ Select Eventide Gaming

Look for Eventide Gaming or eventidegaming.com, then select the checkbox beside it.

If the site is not already shown, type eventidegaming.com into the search box (if its not there already). Google says sources need to publish fresh content regularly to remain available in the tool.

You can choose more than one website, so adding Eventide Gaming will not remove other gaming outlets from your results.

3️⃣ Return to Search and Refresh

Go back to Google Search and refresh your results. The next time you search for current gaming news, hardware changes, platform updates, or gaming deals, Google may show Eventide Gaming more often when a matching article is available.

You can also add a source from a normal search page. Search for a current news topic, find the Top Stories section, select the star icon beside it, search for Eventide Gaming, check the box, and reload the results.

🔎 Where Preferred Eventide Articles Can Appear

Google expanded Preferred Sources to all supported Search languages on April 30, 2026. On May 27, Google also added the setting to AI Overviews and AI Mode where those features are available.

Google areaWhat can change
Top StoriesFresh, relevant Eventide Gaming articles may appear more often
From your sourcesGoogle may create a separate section for selected websites
AI OverviewsEventide links may receive a Preferred label
AI ModeEventide links may stand out inside AI answers

Once Google Preferred Sources is active, your choice applies across these areas. You do not need to set Eventide Gaming separately for Top Stories and Google’s AI search features.

🧠 What the Setting Does Not Do

Google Preferred Sources does not guarantee that Eventide Gaming will be the first result for every search. It also does not hide other websites.

The setting tells Google that you value a source. Google still checks the topic, quality, freshness, and relevance before showing an article. If Eventide Gaming has not published something connected to your search, another website may appear instead.

You can change the list whenever you like through your Google profile under Search personalization, then Source preferences.

🎮 Keep Eventide Gaming Easier to Find

Adding Eventide Gaming as a preferred source is useful if you regularly check gaming news but do not want to hunt for the site each time.

You can also bookmark Eventide Gaming, follow its social pages, and join the Party Chat newsletter for updates outside Google Search. Those options help when Top Stories does not appear or when a new post has not reached Search yet.
