Apple Indie Games Week Highlights 7 iPhone and iPad Games
Apple Indie Games Week starts October 12, spotlighting seven games for iPhone and iPad through daily App Store features and curated collections.
The selection includes martial arts, card battles, city adventures, and kingdom management. Some games are ready to download, while another is still available for pre-order, so the promotion isn’t seven simultaneous releases.

Sifu adds mobile controls and controller support
Sifu brings its complete story campaign to mobile with touch controls, a reworked camera, and full controller support. Its fights reward practice and timing, and the character grows older after being brought back to life.
If you’d rather use physical controls, our guide covers pairing an Xbox controller with Apple devices. Controller support is game-specific, so don’t assume every title in the promotion supports one.
No Man’s Sky is coming later in October
Apple says No Man’s Sky arrives on iPhone and iPad on October 28. However, its U.S. App Store pre-order page currently shows October 29. The two official pages differ by a day, so check the date displayed in your own store before planning around launch.
The mobile version includes the game’s major updates, including Cosmos. Hello Games says the opening will be free to play, with a one-time purchase unlocking the full game. Our No Man’s Sky anniversary retrospective covers how those updates changed the game over the past decade.
Check compatibility and full-game costs
A free download doesn’t always mean a free full game. The trial-based titles in the table require a purchase to continue beyond their free sections. Check the unlock price inside the app before buying.
Device requirements also differ. The No Man’s Sky listing currently requires iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 and an A12 Bionic chip or later. The Dome Keeper listing requires iOS 26 or iPadOS 26, while Sifu requires iOS 18 or iPadOS 18. Check each game’s compatibility section for your exact device.
