A retro gaming YouTuber and modder named @KouzexMods built a working Wii U GamePad with a Switch Lite inside. The project started as an attempt to see if a Switch could fit into the GamePad shell.

The modder dismantled a Switch Lite and rebuilt it to fit the GamePad. They created rules and design plans to make it functional and maintain the look of the original GamePad. The project included technical work to connect the controls and keep the system fully operable.

The finished device included upgrades over the original Switch Lite. It had a larger battery, an improved screen, and other performance adjustments. A video shows the full process and the steps that made the final version work.

The result was a hybrid console shaped like a Wii U GamePad with all the features of a Switch Lite. It offered a more comfortable design and worked as a handheld system. The post linked to GoNintendo for more details and related content.
