Nintendo & Sony Join Forces for a Live-Action Zelda Movie Adventure

Nintendo just dropped big news: a live-action movie for The Legend of Zelda is coming! Wes Ball, known for The Maze Runner and the upcoming Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, will be directing. This adventure will be a collaboration between Nintendo and Sony Pictures Entertainment, with Shigeru Miyamoto—the creator of Zelda—acting as executive producer.

The Legend of Zelda has been a top game series for over 30 years, spanning 19 games. The story follows Link, a young hero who goes out to rescue Princess Zelda and the kingdom of Hyrule from the evil Ganon. Fans love Zelda for its engaging gameplay, epic storytelling, and unforgettable music.
