Today, Respawn is releasing a Next-Gen Console update for Apex Legends alongside the "Warriors" collection event.

For PS5 players, the update brings 4K resolution at 60Hz with HDR, higher resolution shadow maps, and a greater draw distance.

To download the PS5 update:

1. Go to the Apex Legends game hub on your PS5 dashboard.

2. Press the "Options" button next to "Play Game."

3. Select "Choose Version" and pick the PS5 version to start the download.

After the download is complete, you can go to your Game Library to delete the PS4 version.

For Xbox Series X|S consoles, the update automatically downloads the right version for your console. Both consoles will get 60Hz with HDR, but only the Series X will have 4K, higher resolution shadow maps, and a greater draw distance. No extra steps are needed!
